Scientific Consultant (Sales & Technical Support)

Job description

Brain Vision UK is the sole distributor of Brain Products GmbH in the United Kingdom and represents a number of leading manufacturers in the Neurological field. Our products are used mainly by scientists working in neuroscience research and clinical trials/applications. We have an outstanding pedigree in building long standing relationships with some of the UK’s leading facilities and neuroscience pioneers by providing reliable cutting-edge technology with an outstanding support network.

We’re looking for an individual who shares in our passion and will become a driving force to help take Brain Vision UK to new heights of excellence and service.

Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EEG research, enjoy working with key researchers in the field of neuroscience and be confident to converse on current research and development projects.

Your duties will include

  • Supporting the activity and be a part of the support, sales and consulting team.
  • Working together with Brain Products, Medoc and other manufacturers to provide comprehensive technical and scientific support.
  • Attending conferences in the UK and across Europe.
  • Frequent travel throughout the UK for workshops, installations, demonstrations and customer trainings.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field of EEG and ERP research.

Applicant requirements are

  • Academic degree (Masters or PhD preferred) in the relevant field of neurosciences, psychology, physics, biophysics, biomedical technology or a related field.
  • Experience in complex neurophysiological analyses – you should be a user of Brain Products hard- and software solutions.
  • High level of analytical skills with a strong understanding and ability to find solutions quickly.
  • Possess excellent communication skills; specifically you should enjoy frequent interaction with our customers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex scientific topics to varied audiences.
  • Confidence in your capacity to take initiative and work independently.
  • Outstanding written and spoken English.
  • Ideally based in London or the South East.
